Parenting Support

Build confidence and skills for raising thriving children

Understanding Parenting Challenges

Parenting is one of the most rewarding and most challenging roles you'll ever have. There's no manual, and what worked for your parents—or what works for other families—might not work for yours. It's normal to feel uncertain, frustrated, or overwhelmed at times.

Parenting support helps you develop strategies tailored to your family's unique needs, understand your child's behavior, and parent in alignment with your values while maintaining your own wellbeing.

  • Behavioral Challenges - Tantrums, defiance, aggression
  • Developmental Stages - Toddlers, tweens, teens
  • Special Circumstances - ADHD, anxiety, neurodivergence
  • Co-Parenting - Divorce, blended families, alignment

Parenting Support FAQs

Is this therapy for me or for my child?

Parenting support focuses on you as the parent—building your skills, understanding, and confidence. If your child needs direct support, we also offer teen counseling and family therapy.

What ages do you help parents with?

We support parents of children at all ages—from toddlers through teens and even adult children. The strategies and focus will differ based on your child's developmental stage.

Can you help if my child has ADHD or other challenges?

Yes! We help parents understand and respond effectively to children with ADHD, anxiety, and other challenges. Parenting a neurodivergent child often requires different strategies.

What if my partner and I disagree about parenting?

Co-parenting conflicts are common. We can work with you individually or together as a couple through couples therapy to develop a unified approach.

Does my own childhood affect my parenting?

Often, yes. Many parents find that understanding their own upbringing helps them parent more intentionally. If past trauma is affecting your parenting, we can address that too.

How long does parenting support take?

This varies based on your needs. Some parents benefit from just a few sessions to address specific challenges, while others prefer ongoing support as their children grow.

Do you offer telehealth for parenting support?

Yes! We offer virtual therapy sessions throughout Arizona and Utah. Telehealth is often ideal for busy parents.
