Nick Salvesen, LAC
I believe meaningful change begins when people feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted. My goal is to create a safe, honest, and compassionate space where you can make sense of painful experiences, better understand yourself, and create lasting change.
My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, direct, and collaborative. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflict, betrayal, identity concerns, emotional regulation, and self-worth. I also have experience providing trauma and crisis counseling to teens and adolescents, as well as supporting adoptive and multiracial families as they navigate identity, attachment, belonging, and family relationships.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our three children, and our two German shepherds. I also enjoy strength training, trail running, hiking, music, and being outdoors. My faith is an important part of my life and helps shape the compassion, hope, and respect I bring to my work with clients.
